Back in my past life when I managed restaurants, there was one phrase you’d always hear coming from the kitchen:
"Clean while you cook."
You'd hear it so much it practically became a commandment.
For good reason too.
That’s because with half a dozen people cooking… waiting staff coming in and out… grease popping all over the place… and tons of sharp and burning objects…
A kitchen can become a disaster real quick.
That's one of the reasons this phrase of clean while you cook has stayed with me for years.
In fact, I believe it can be applied to almost any situation you find yourself in.
