Almost 90% of Businesses Make This 1 Mistake
One of the easiest ways to get new customers is by asking your existing customers for referrals. And yet, nearly 89% of businesses donโt use it...
To be fair, we're guilty of the same crime, when we didn't have a system in place to request referrals from our existing customers.
We have been blind to this obvious, super easy source of new revenue, almost like a broken wall in a contractor's own backyard.
Here are some facts to consider
91% of customers say they'd give referrals, happily.
But only 11% of businesses ask for referrals.
Major gap, right??
Just ask your current customers. What can be easier...
Morning Brew used it for their newsletter and is now sitting at a cool 4 million+ subscribers.
What are you waiting for?
There are three ways to do this:
1. Ask for a referral manually, just talk to your sales team (including yourself) and send emails to all of your customers
2. Set up an automated email flow, so that after a few weeks of their first purchase, you send them a couple of emails asking for referrals
3. Use a 3rd party tool, that will do this for you, and even make the process of referrals super easy, so the referral requests are automatically activated based on specific criteria you set up, such as receiving positive feedback/testimonial and/or completion of a service project.
