Next week, the 35th edition of is set to offer exciting opportunities to hear from some of the ceramic industry's top leaders, including our very own.

On behalf of Ceramics of Italy, Novità Executive Vice President Danielle McWilliams will take part in a distinguished panel about "Global Tile Trends" on Tuesday, April 29, at 11:00 AM (Room S230E), exploring the latest, inspiring trends in ceramic design around the world.

Two design influences we can't get enough of: Fornasetti and Poltrona Frau. So color us captivated as Poltrona Frau teams up with artistic Milanese atelier Fornasetti to unveil 50 limited edition pieces of the Vanity Fair XC armchair. Adorned with surreal illustrations from the archives, the chair features Fornasetti’s iconic celestial motifs. Originally designed by Piero Fornasetti in the 1950s and re-interpreted by Barnaba Fornasetti, the dream-like pattern is now digitally printed on Poltrona Frau's Pelle Frau® Impact Less leather.

The exclusive armchair –– part of Poltrona Frau's upcoming Imagine collection –– will be on view during Milan Design Week 2024 in April.

Galerie56 celebrated the opening of “Les Enfants Terribles” last night! Curated by owner and AD100 member Lee F. Mindel of multidisciplinary firm , the exhibition marks the first collaboration with Paris-based icon Jacques Lacoste (of Galerie Jacques Lacoste). The provocative new exhibition celebrates the “holy terrors” of 20th-century design in France, highlighting the work of the talented architects, decorators, and artists—including Jean Royère, Eileen Gray, and Alexandre Noll to name a few—who transformed design between the second half of the 1920s and the tail end of the 1950s with their avant-garde thinking and unorthodox approaches. “Les Enfants Terribles” will be on view until April 19th.
