AICRP on FARM IMPLEMENTS AND MACHINERY SCHEME PJTSAU, HYDERABAD, AgHub - Agri-Innovation Hub of PJTSAU.

Delegation from Yeonggwang (Gun) City, JeonNam Province visited Bangalore City, Karnataka State from 13th - 14th June 2019 lead by Mr Calvin Yi, CEO of Wevio Global Inc.
Yeonggwang is one the Major City focused E-Mobility of various Industries with world class R&D, Technologies, Products and many focused industries those are matching to Karnataka State such as Green Industry - E-mobility, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Nuclear Energy, Aerospace and Defense, High-Tech industry - Software, IoT, Drone, Agri Tech, Movie, Game, Music and Contents, Bio Industry - Nanotechnology, Bio Medical Research, Food processing, Chemical & Petrochemicals, Shipbuilding & Marine Logistics, Steel, Ceramic, Ocean Farming and Automotive.

The Mayor of Yeonggwang City, South Korea, Mr. Kim Jun Seong and E-Mobility Association had met Honorable Minister Sri K.J.Jorge and discussed strategic partnerships on focused industries both Karnataka and Jeonnam Province, South Korea.

Delegation also had meeting BESCOM(Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited) to understand the existing E Mobility policies, initiatives and opportunities for korea companies. Delegation Identified many possible ways to collaborate for E Mobility projects in terms of information and technology exchange.

On Government of Karnataka, The Honorable Minister Sri K.J.Jorge expressed the interests of bilateral relationship between Karnataka and JeonNam Province.

The Mayor appreciated the initiatives of the government of Karnataka for E-Mobility (which is the first time in India) and policies those going to make bangalore and Karnataka as pollution free state in the country. Interest has come for Yeonggwang and Karnataka to sing MOU for cooperation and support to make these relationship as sister cities and state & province. This MOU will help both sides for cultural exchange and business in terms of Trade,Joint R&D, Technology Transfer, Joint Ventures and Investment. Delegation also interested to do joint project on E-mobility Infrastructure such E-Mobility Knowledge Transfer, charging stations, technology, products and many others.

Delegation also welcoming key officials of Government of Karnataka with Minister to visit Korea and participate on the biggested E-Mobility Expo happening in September 2019 to take the bilateral relationship to the next level.

The Mayor thanked Mr. Calvin Yi, CEO Wevio Global Inc, for bringing the Delegation to Karnataka and supporting big time for India - Korea Bilateral business between the two countries from last 15 years. And appreciated his efforts and time to network and platform for Korean companies to work with India in healthy and prosperous manner.

Organizing by Govt of Karnataka and Indian chamber of commerce (ICC)

Bangalore, Jan 2019: Government of Karnataka - Department of Industries and Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) jointly organized an Electric Vehicle Summit - 2019 EV capital of India on Wednesday at Taj West End Hotel, Bengaluru, which is inaugurated by Shri. K.J. George|Hon’ble Minister of Large & Medium Scale Industries of Karnataka.

While Addressing the gathering Mr K.J George, said that; To maintain the lead share of Karnataka as a preferred destination for attracting investments in manufacture of electric vehicles segment and attract Investments of Rs. 31,000 crore. To create employment opportunities to 55,000 people, to provide opportunities for R&D in electric mobility.

Shri. George Lien, President - TECO Electric Company Limited from Taiwan said, is in business of energy optimization in India and in respect to that they would like to work closely with the India and Karnataka government including the private sector in encouraging technology and investment in the electric vehicle segment

Along with Karnataka Electrical Vehicle Summit, exhibition of Electrical Vehicles, latest EV & Charging Technology, Services, Start-ups is also organised by IBC Expo team for companies interested in launching their electrical vehicles, related products and services in the Indian market”he added.

As part of the summit, IBC Expo team has organized India First Global EV Exhibition “EV 360” where Mahindra Electric, Sun Mobility, Ather Energy, E Trio, NRD Eco Motors, Jitendra Electrical Vehicle, Ampere displayed Electric.

The event concluded on the note of Indian chamber of commerce signing an MOU with South Korean association led by WEVIO in the field of electric vehicle mobility to promote Indo - Korean cooperation.

The Korea India Business Summit 2018 was successfully completed on Nov 2nd at HYATT Regency, New Delhi, with fruitful Korea- India Business Relationships.
