When I founded DOWNTOWN Magazine over two decades ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Mischelle Arcus, owner of STELLA in Tribeca. To this day, my bedroom remains the sanctuary she helped me create.

Mischelle is not only incredibly knowledgeable, with impeccable taste, but her timeless, high-quality bedding remains among my most coveted treasures. She transformed my bedroom into a personal haven of peace, rest, and comfort—and all these years later, I still cherish it.

One thing Mischelle said to me back then has always stayed with me: “Dressing your bed is much like dressing yourself. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing it, you won’t feel comfortable sleeping in it.”
