R.I.P. Dad....My father was a man of few words, deep patience, and steady hands. A fisherman. An outdoorsman. A provider and protector in the truest sense. He loved his family fiercely and quietly not through constant words, but through consistency, sacrifice, and presence.
He was from an era where men didnโt say much, but they showed everything. In a time when that kind of man feels rare, I am profoundly grateful I was raised by one. I never had to wonder what a real man was I lived under his protection.
For the past six months, I had the honor of being one of his primary caregivers. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life, and also one of the greatest privileges.
I am beyond grateful to God for the gift of time for the ability to work virtually while caring for my father in his final season. Though it was not a time of financial abundance, it became a season rich beyond measure. A season of deep healing, strengthened faith, and sacred lessons learned while walking alongside a man preparing to complete his journey and leave this world.
Thank you, Dad, for your life, your love, and your legacy.
