If you’re spending hours creating social media content for your business and still wondering where the leads are, posting frequency might be the wrong thing to fix.

One of the biggest problems we see with small business social media marketing is a lot of activity without a clear reason for someone to pay attention.

You can have a full content calendar, post several times a week, follow every Instagram tip, and still struggle with reach, engagement, or leads if the strategy behind the content isn’t strong enough.
Before adding another post to the calendar, look at what you’re giving people a reason to remember you for.

Because 20 forgettable posts won’t outperform 5 that actually make the right person stop and think, this is for me.

More content ≠ a better social media strategy.

Imagine someone pulls out their phone and searches for exactly what your business offers.

They’re ready to call, ready to book, ready to buy.

But your business... well, it doesn’t show up. Your competitor does.

That’s just one reason. There’s more to SEO than that. We broke it down in our latest blog. Head to the link in bio to read it.

😂 AI is tired, y’all.

If you’re a business owner using the same prompts, the same templates, and the same “make it professional” instructions as everyone else, don’t be surprised when your marketing starts looking… like everyone else’s.

AI can make ex*****on faster. It can help you brainstorm, write, design, and produce more, etc., but it still needs a point of view.

That’s where a good marketing agency should be doing something different: not just using AI to make more content, but bringing the strategy, creative direction, audience insight, and judgment that make the content worth noticing in the first place.

The goal isn’t to make more. It’s to make something people actually remember when they need your services/products.

What should you actually expect during your first month with an SEO agency?

Not guaranteed rankings. Not an overnight flood of leads. But also, not a month of vague “behind-the-scenes work” with nothing to show for it.

We’ve had clients start seeing leads within the first three months. Others began seeing them after six or even nine months. The timeline depends on where the website is starting, the competition, the search demand, and how much work needs to happen before meaningful growth can begin.

A good SEO strategy should be honest about that while still giving you clear priorities, completed work, and signs of progress from the start.

Swipe for a realistic look at month one.

I've officially become a professional collector of swag 😂

Jokes aside, another great event hosted by the NYS Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development/Empire State Development.

Always a pleasure to connecting with like-minded business owners, learning about new opportunities, and running into familiar faces.

Somewhere along the way, we started treating virality like the only metric that matters. 😩 But if every post is trying to "break the internet," who's actually building a brand?

The brands we remember usually aren't the ones with one viral hit. They're the ones that keep showing up with a clear voice, a recognizable identity, and something worth saying.

What do you think? Is virality overrated, or is it still the goal every brand should chase?

Everyone wants SEO to deliver results fast. 🧐 But the biggest mistake isn't expecting too much... it's measuring the wrong things too soon.

SEO isn't a switch you turn on. It's a process that builds momentum over time. And long before leads start coming in, there are clear signals that tell you your strategy is moving in the right direction.

In our latest blog, we break down what a realistic SEO timeline looks like for small businesses, what you should expect month by month, and which metrics are actually worth paying attention to.

📖 Read the full article on our bio and see what progress should really look like.

Everyone wants a viral campaign. Don't worry... we're guilty too. 😅

But how often do we stop and ask if our brand is actually memorable?

Because the truth is, people rarely fall in love with a brand because of one campaign. It happens through the little things: how you reply, how you communicate, and how you make people feel, over and over again.

Virality gets attention. Consistency builds preference. 🤝

Curious to hear your take... do you think brands spend too much time chasing reach and not enough time shaping perception? 👀

Everyone's watching the matches. We're watching what everyone's talking about. 👀

Because the biggest marketing lessons from the World Cup aren't always in the final score.

They're in the memes, the unexpected brand moves, the controversies, the underdog stories... and all the conversations happening around the game.

That's why social listening matters. Not because it tells you what happened. Because it helps you understand why people care.

Which moment stood out to you the most? Or did we miss one? 👇

The best campaigns have something in common—and no, it's not the budget.

These were some of our favorite moves so far, but we're sure there are more worth talking about. Which one impressed you the most? Or is there a marketing move we should add to the list? 👇
