The Architectural Visualisation industry is now 30 years old - it has evolved from a ‘presentation skill’ & adjunct of architecture to become a full fledged, sophisticated, innovative creative discipline.
A discipline with its own modes of practice, philosophical streams and foundational principles. An industry that learns from and feeds back into photography, filmmaking, gaming, and immersive media and experience design.
For the past few years, Andrei Dolnikov together with Architect, Visualistion Innovator and Academic Dr. Paul Loh have interviewed 14 of the world’s leading studios to map the present & future of our industry.
The result is Parallax: Architectural Visualisation Now. A landmark book exploring and elevating Arch Viz to a new & intellectual plane of discourse. We hope this is just the beginning of an emerging self awareness and confidence within our industry as we stand at the threshold of playing an increasingly crucial role in shaping how society see the future or our build and lived environment.
