Yesterday, Burberry took a bold move returning to classic with simple serif and bringing their mascot back. We admire their courage to be the first major brand to back to serif and bring their illustrated mascot. Love what they’re doing. Our only recommendation for them is to make a minimalistic version of their logo for when its’ embroidered or used in small locations.
We’re looking forward to how they implement this brand into through world. Take a peek.

Why do a brand collaboration?

1) Brand collaboration is an easy way to get free exposure to pre-existing customer base from other brands.

2) Nurtures customer relationships of your current brand. Could provide exclusive discount or access to rewards to each other brands customer base.

3. Depending on the brand collaboration this can be a boost of credibility to leverage a campaign where multiple brands go into it simultaneously.

4) Free publicity! Brand collaborations usually create free press and the free advertising is worth it! Great example of brand collaborations with free press is Red Bull!

5) Because brands tend to communicate differently not only can you leverage free press but the collaboration of social channels. Brand collaboration campaign tend to be about 25x cheaper than brand solo run campaign!

Brand collaboration is a smart way to get your word out.

Remember free press is free advertising. Give them something to talk about.
