Gin or whisky?
G&T is the best aperitivo there is. Refreshing on hot summer evenings, while a Hearach after dinner listening to music or watching the sun set is a different kind of bliss

One word to describe Harris
Sacred

First drink you’d pour someone new to the brand?
Probably start with the gin since it was launched onto the market before the Hearach. It’s really good at setting the scene for telling the brand story and moving into the whiskies.

Best moment you’ve had representing the Isle of Harris in the USA?
It’s been almost two years since I started and I’m immensely proud to represent this gem of a brand. We’re fully independent too so less red tape than a bigger company. We’re all aligned to the same goal, to put Harris on the map and offer our gift to the world. So for me all moments are precious

Bagpipes or a quiet dram?
Well I play the pipes so I’d probably play a quick reel, stop, sip a Hearach and then play a slightly faster jig. Le’t’s see how it goes from there on 🙂
