As a survivor of domestic abuse and an avid fan, I feel compelled to take a stand. For an individual who has brought joy, hope and inspiration to so many, the actions taken by the Hollywood community when it comes to his case and the time leading up to, are unacceptable.

Domestic violence is often a crime that goes unnoticed and perpetrated by those you least expect. Only 34% of victims receive medical care according to The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and most statistics report that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experience some form of violence from a partner.

Johnny Depp's case is an example of just how domestic victims are often overlooked or blamed for the events they've experienced - especially when the victims are male. In an attempt to change the conversation, I'm asking fans and other victims of domestic violence to join this campaign to - not only show support for one of the most iconic entertainers of our time - but also to raise awareness that we will not tolerate victim blaming, blackballing or justice inequality

Proceeds benefit victims of domestic abuse.
