Today, advocates, elected officials, and animal welfare organizations came together at City Hall to call for the passage of Intro 943 — Romanch’s Law.

Following the press conference, supporters testified before the City Council, urging lawmakers to end horse-drawn carriage rides in New York City and move toward a more humane future for both horses and the workers whose livelihoods are affected.

Romanch’s tragic death must not be in vain. His legacy deserves action.

Congratulations to the reigning National Women's Soccer League champions, Gotham FC, on today's announcement that the club will permanently relocate to Etihad Park in Willets Point starting in 2028.

Gotham FC will share the nation's first all-electric, soccer-specific outdoor stadium with New York City FC, marking another major milestone for women's professional soccer and for New York City's growing role as a global soccer capital.
