Geto & de Milly is pleased to welcome back Natalie Beldner for her second summer as an intern with the firm!

Natalie first joined the G&deM team in 2025 and quickly became a valued part of the office through her work supporting client research, community engagement efforts, and various public affairs initiatives. During her time with the firm, she has gained valuable insight into New York City’s political and governmental landscape, while developing a deeper understanding of the strategy, collaboration, and attention to detail required to help advance successful projects and advocacy efforts.

Natalie is currently pursuing a double major in Philosophy: Law & Policy and Spanish, with a minor in Legal Studies, at Washington University in St. Louis, where she will enter her junior year this fall.

We are excited to have Natalie back with us and look forward to another great summer of working together to support positive change across New York City.

Geto & de Milly continues to engage with New York City Council Members in support of nonprofit organizations advocating for critical FY27 funding, so they can continue delivering essential services to communities across the five boroughs.

Today, prior to the City Council’s Stated Meeting, we met with Council Members in support of our client, the Emma L. Bowen Community Service Center’s Rainbow Clubhouse, as well as the other New York City clubhouses that make up the Community-based Clubhouse Coalition.

Community-based clubhouses provide individuals living with mental health challenges with supportive environments focused on recovery, peer connection, employment, education, and long-term stability — helping thousands of New Yorkers live healthier, more independent lives.

We’re proud to support the coalition’s advocacy efforts and stand alongside the providers, members, and advocates working to protect and strengthen these life-changing programs across New York City.

A wonderful evening in support of an extraordinary organization, the Ali Forney Center, helping raise critical funding to support LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness and build brighter, safer futures for some of New York’s most vulnerable young people.

It was inspiring to see so many advocates, leaders, and supporters come together around a shared commitment to compassion, dignity, opportunity, and community.

Proud to support an organization like Ali Forney, along with our client Sportime Randall's Island/JMTA NYC, whose work continues to change, and save lives every single day.

Advocacy in action at City Hall.

Ahead of today’s NYC Council Stated Meeting, members of the Community-Based Clubhouse Coalition gathered outside 250 Broadway and City Hall, through coordinated advocacy led by Geto & de Milly, Inc., to call for the Council to expand funding for its Mental Health Clubhouses initiative in the FY27 budget.

Built on a peer-driven community model, Clubhouses offer a structured workday that fosters routine, responsibility, and purpose, while creating a direct pathway to education and employment for New Yorkers living with serious mental illness.

Bowen Center CEO Amber Shah and NYC Council Member and Chair of the Council Finance Committee Council Member Linda Lee were in attendance to celebrate leadership in action at the InUnity Alliance Leadership Awards, where Council Member Lee was among the honorees.

A true champion for mental health on the City Council, CM Lee played a key role in restoring critical funding for community-based Clubhouses, including our Rainbow Clubhouse, ensuring these vital programs continue to support New Yorkers on their path to recovery.

Her leadership focuses on strengthening and expanding access to essential, community-based services, from addiction treatment and youth programming to comprehensive support for older adults...so New Yorkers at every stage of life can access the care they need.

Our thanks to our longtime partner Mutual of America for inviting Amber as their guest!

Geto & de Milly congratulates Emma L. Bowen Community Service Center CEO Amber M. Shah on being named to City and State NY’s Above & Beyond: Women list.

In a short time, Amber has reinforced the Bowen’s commitment to community-based care…advancing the organization’s model that integrates mental health services, addiction treatment, and essential supportive services that meet New Yorkers where they are.

Her leadership reflects a clear focus on access, equity, and delivering real impact for the communities Bowen serves every day.

A well-earned recognition for a leader doing the work.

Geto & de Milly mourns the passing of Ronnie M. Eldridge, a principled public servant and tireless advocate for New Yorkers.

Ronnie devoted her life to expanding opportunity, advancing the rights of women, and strengthening the civic fabric of Manhattan and our city. Whether in government, media, or community leadership, she used her voice to open doors, challenge injustice, and keep public life focused on the people it is meant to serve.

Her impact extended far beyond the offices she held. Generations of New Yorkers benefited from her wisdom, independence, and unwavering commitment to civic engagement.

New York City is better because of Ronnie Eldridge’s life and work.

May her memory be a blessing.
