In the US, 1 in 3 women + 1 in 6 men experience some form of contact sexual violence in their lifetime and 1 in 5 women + 1 in 71 men will be r***d at some point in their lives (stats from CDC via ). With staggering statistics like these it is imperative that we and give them due process within our justice system. How are we going to be able to rightfully do that when the men on the court deciding these cases are themselves credibly accused of sexual violence? For that reason, today and every day, I believe Dr. Blasey Ford, Anita Hill, Deborah Ramirez and all of the other survivors who have come forward to tell their stories.
