Evolution, in real time. In the Galápagos.
Renowned evolutionary biologists Peter & Rosemary Grant headline a limited-space charity cruise aboard the Isabela II with Metropolitan Touring South America Tour Operator, sailing October 30.
For thirty years, the Grants studied Galápagos finches on remote Daphne Major, tracking bill shape, survival, and behavior. Their work, chronicled in the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Beak of the Finch, proved evolution can be observed in real time.
The voyage supports the Endowed Chair in Evolutionary Biology at the Charles Darwin Research Station. Space is limited. 🌿🐢
