Havas NY’s campaign for the Brooklyn Film Festival has been shortlisted for a Cannes Film Lions in the "Travel/Leisure" and "Breakthrough on a Budget" categories. We’re proud of all that our partnership with BFF has achieved with a year that played out like a dystopian thriller as inspiration. Let’s face it – if 2020 were a movie, it would win big at this year’s festival. The campaign, directed by Ben Quinn of Hemingway Films, features two ads that grapple with the unprecedented realities of quarantine, where the most routine events become tense and chaotic. In our shortlisted film, “Visitors,” new parents are seemingly haunted by a set of elderly folks. In reality, the visitors just want to see their new grandchild while staying socially distanced.
