I’ve had the incredible opportunity to host multiple Canva 101 courses with the NYC Department of Small Business Services, and it’s been such a rewarding experience.

I specifically created this course for the NYC Department of Small Business Services with small businesses in mind — helping entrepreneurs, creatives, and founders feel more confident designing their own content. From branding basics to hands-on Canva training, the goal has always been simple: make design accessible, practical, and empowering.

Each student walks away with a full workbook, presentation slides, free social media templates they can actually use, and a complimentary 15-minute consultation with me to support their next steps. I wanted this course to feel actionable — not just educational.

The turnout so far has been amazing. I’ve loved connecting with so many passionate business owners across New York City and seeing how excited everyone is to elevate their brands.

We’ll be hosting another class in March, and I’ll be sharing more details soon once registration opens!

As I create my next I think about WHY I created this series for you.
⚡️This series was designed to help the everyday business owner by providing helpful marketing and branding tips.
Fun Facts behind each :
Take One- I list all of my Take 3 Topics in my notes on my phone and sometimes I think of topics in the middle of the night 💤😂
Take Two- I do NOT read from a script. Each is memorized. And with this, comes a lot of “takes” lol
Take Three- I am a self taught video editor. I still have a lot of learning but I hope you like what you see.

Another fun fact is that I am dyslexic and I’ve suffered from reading comprehension & pronunciation problems ever since I was younger. This causes a lot of anxiety. I never thought I would create a series like this. And I never thought I would be sharing with you my personal issues. But I think it’s important for you to know because this may help you feel less alone.
⚡️Step out of your comfort zone, tune out the noise and learn to be fueled by your fears.
