Sprouthouse began in 2012 as Polished Pig Media, a localized public relations firm headquartered in Charleston, SC. Over time, we have adapted and expanded both our footprint and our offerings to reflect the shifts in the marketplace. Today, we are a full-service agency of over 20 team members in eight markets, servicing clients not only in those cities, but also in many other communities we know

and love. But like the teams we work with, we’ve remained true to ourselves by staying nimble and connected, offering tailored tactics and strategic services that make the most sense for our clients.

A pop-up with a very Charleston POV.

We loved working alongside the Post House team to create a unique pop-up shopping experience for guests, diners enjoying lunch at the restaurant, and the Inn’s Old Village neighbors. From Toadfish and bogardthebrand to Kenny Flowers and Topical Magnesium & Hormone-Safe Skincare, there was a little something for everyone.

One of our favorite parts of the job is partnering with like-minded teams who know that bringing people together, celebrating local businesses and shopping small is always a good idea.

Mother’s Ruin is in NYC, Chicago, Austin, Nashville and now Charleston!

It’s been one month since opened its doors and the pendant lights started swinging. Our CHS-based team have been boots on the ground (and, occasionally, the tables) spreading the good word of late-night bites, seriously great cocktails, and the kind of community that people are willing to travel across the country for.

We hit the ground running — VIP opening events, influencer and media dines, UGC shoots, and a Mother’s Day Challenge that brought out 362 die-hards. Alongside all of it, we’ve championed everything that makes this brand special: the inventive bar program, the cult-favorite menu, and that unpretentious, come-as-you-are energy that makes Mother’s Ruin, well… Mother’s Ruin.

So, head over to King Street and raise a glass of the Hot Girl Hubris to great partnerships with even better people. Mother said so!
