(New York, October 30, 2013) --- Cynthia Saldana, the owner of Ikon NewYork Model Management, released this statement today in response to the theft of the IKON Model Management's name and subsequent impugnation of Ikon's reputation:
"Ikon New York Model Management was founded in 1996. In late 2013 we have opened a Los Angeles Division caled Ikon los Angeles Model Management. There is truly only one Ikon Model Management . We are independent and stand alone with our morals and years of hard work and thousands of clients who book our models repeatedly. We have many established and working models, along with a few new faces that we are developing. Our models continually book major print advertising campaigns, commercials, as well as all other categories in the modeling and acting field. Recently our name has been used, without permission, by another. They have opened an IKON AU a few years ago, and now, LA IKON. They are not associated in any way with Ikon New York and Ikon Los Angeles Model Management, and do not have the same vision, morals, clients, or models. As always we welcome new submissions and appreciate our loyal clients and look forward to building new relationships."
