Conjuring up the 💡BIG IDEA takes a dive into the deep dark pond of creativity. Unfortunately, the pond is often a swamp.

I quietly crawl on my hands and knees (not to make waves) until I cross the threshold that leads me down into an alternate reality where many of my BIG IDEAS await.

They call me in my daydreams - beckoning me to join them. 🤔

They torture me in my nightmares - convincing me without them, I'm nothing.

And like the sailors enchanted by the music of the Sirens I go, hoping I too don't become shipwrecked.

Each time I pass through the portal⛩️ I tiptoe across the minefield of creative wonders who became trapped forever, never making it back.

I am careful to scoop up something, anything - that will put POWER in my next tale.

And then, like an addict who's just copped, I skip it out of there.

Quietly but quickly I make my way back, careful not to arouse the attention of the centurions who keep watch of invaders coming to steal creative magic.

If they catch you, you'll certainly end up insane.

Which is why I'd rather find The BIG IDEA curled up inside an over-fried fortune cookie - More Light - Less Pain
