very shot taken on a 30inch high def monitor as she shoots. She does all her own retouching and some printing and in addition, she can do beautiful drawings to put in the background of your image making it a piece of fine art.
2. EDUCATION: Julie has also achieved two masters degrees - one in education were she taught digital photography at the high school level, and one in Digital Photography from the school of visual arts in New York City. 3. EYE for IMAGERY: Julie is an artist which that talent gives her eye for imagery a step above the rest. Because of this, she has won multiple awards for her work including, awarded as a recipient of the EAW (Eddie Adams Workshop). (Briefly, EAW is a Nikon sponsored event and acceptance is based on merit only. It is conducted by multiple Pulitzer prize and award winning photographers and photo editors which include some of the top names in the business) , Additionally, she took first place / over all winner of the over all winner from the Magno Intensity Photo Competition for a Photoshop manipulated surreal image, “Its Not Sunny in the Subway” (www.magno-intensity.com, http://svaonlinedigitalphoto.wordpress.com). J Lance has been published many times including PDN Photobook NYC, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Retouching Book, A Magazine, Surf Magazine, and Foto Magazine. J Lance is an expert retoucher, proficient in all Adobe products, and educated in color theory, color spaces, printer profiling, formatting, and resolution. J Lance is an artist and spares no expenses when it comes to the quality of her work. She has done photography workshops with renowned artists; Calvin Hollywood in London, Greg Gorman in Hollywood, and surf photographer extraordinaire, Art Brewer in Puerto Rico.
