Before increasing a marketing budget, it's worth asking whether the system underneath can absorb it. More spend on an unready system doesn't create clarity. It creates a more expensive version of the confusion that was already there. Here's what to check first (then second, then third, then fourth, so we get you to the finish line):

Before you increase your marketing budget, check if the system can absorb it. A readiness test across ownership, direction, measurement, and foundation.

𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁! 🚀

If you like the strategy side of paid media but aren't ready to give up the hands-on work, this role keeps both. You'll own campaigns end to end: the research, the plan, the build, the optimization, and the client call where you explain what happened and why.

We're looking for someone with 3+ years of experience across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic, and the confidence to lead strategy conversations with clients and internal teams.

What's on offer:

💰 $65,000 to $85,000 plus benefits
📍 Remote across Canada with a Vancouver office available
🌴 Flexible hour, comprehensive medical benefits, a healthcare spending account, and bonus time off over the holidays

We ran an AI prospecting campaign on 1,000 dormant leads expecting pipeline. We got that, 24 meetings and a $200,000 deal in the first month.

But we also got something just as useful: a fast, honest read on our own CRM.

Records that had gone stale, people who'd changed jobs, companies that had restructured, all surfaced quickly because our reps stayed in the loop to catch them.

Run this kind of campaign well and it does double duty, it works your leads and audits your database at the same time.

Here's the full account of how using HubSpot's Prospecting Agent it played out:

The World Cup being in Vancouver has made for a few good moments around our HQ.

Canada has a special place in the conversation, but with so many flags represented across the team, there’s been plenty of friendly competition to go around.

Just enough to keep things interesting without anyone needing to update HR. 👀

Most of us have found at least one game worth rearranging a calendar for. So far that’s meant watch parties, match-day stories, team photos, and one very good “you’ll never guess who I met” moment.

Not a bad few weeks to be in the city.

AI has changed how a rebrand 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 to be rolled out.

A clean migration protects your SEO, and timing the launch still matters. But neither is the whole job anymore. If you don't manage where AI pulls your information from, and in what order, it will keep describing your old brand for months, or leave you out of its recommendations because the mixed signals make you hard to trust.

The fix is to sequence the rollout by source weight, not by launch date, and to get the high-authority sources moving well before launch.

Find the full five-phase rollout, from eight weeks before launch through the six months after, in the comment below.

We’re hiring a Senior Media Strategist!

But before we get into the job stuff, here’s what actually matters to us.

We want someone who’s genuinely curious. The kind of person who reads the campaign data because they actually want to know, not because the report is due.

Someone who doesn’t treat a bad week as a failure, just a different set of inputs.

And someone who shows up as themselves, because that’s the only version of anyone we’re actually want to work with.

The role is enterprise paid media end to end. You’ll own strategy and ex*****on across SEM, paid social, programmatic, CTV, and DOOH, managing seven-figure budgets, leading client conversations, and stepping in as the lead strategist on active accounts from day one.

💼 Five or more years of agency experience preferred.
📍 Vancouver is the preference. Remote across Canada is on the table.
🔋 $80K–$105K + benefits.

Most retail brands are running digital campaigns that are driving in-store traffic. They just can't prove it.

That was Rieker's situation. We fixed the measurement before we touched the media, and the results changed how they invest.

Recognized with a Bronze in Data/Insights at The Drum Awards for Marketing Americas 2026, and we're over the moon.

Major Tom has been shortlisted for Best Data/Insight by for Marketing Americas. 🚀

This recognition means a lot because the work behind it reflects what we believe good marketing should do:

- bring sharper thinking,
- clearer measurement,
- and better decisions to complex challenges.

Huge credit to everyone across the analytics, media, and creative teams who brought this project to life.

Clarity found. Chaos managed. Fingers crossed!

"There's something in product engineering called technical debt. When you make a compromise while building something because it takes less time or fewer resources, you end up paying for it over time. That debt accumulates and compounds. Measurement flaws scale the same way." - Caleb Maurice, Digital Marketing Analyst.

The analogy is precise. Small attribution gaps, disconnected platforms, and metrics that describe activity rather than outcomes feel manageable at current spend. At 2x spend, they become structural failures.
