Some tattoos tell stories. This one defines a whole chapter.

While on a recent solo trip to Thailand, our founder Liz Reitman stumbled upon a café called Chapter 2. What made it magical? She has that exact phrase tattooed on her arm—a symbol of the life she began building after her 25-year marriage ended.

Her tattoo, CHAPTER 2, marks the moment she stepped into a new version of herself: a founder, a solo traveler, a woman leading with intention. Chapter 1 was about raising kids and building a life with others in mind. Chapter 2 is about carving her own path—one decision, one risk, one adventure at a time.

Seeing that café name felt like the universe saying, You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

Here’s to bold chapters and the people brave enough to live them.

Summer Musts to Make It More Memorable
1. Don’t overbook. Whether hosting a BBQ or driving to the beach, allowing adequate time helps you enjoy the moment.
2. Do practice self-care. Maintain your workouts, sleep schedule, and other healthy habits, even during summer.
3. Don’t grill too closely to your home, deck railing, or patio furniture. Keep grill three feet from people and objects. No space? Take it to a park.
4. Do things by starlight—a beach walk, campfire, and dinner with those you love. Notice things.
