Happy 🏙️ celebrated every September 3rd to commemorate the “Father of Skyscrapers” Louis Henry Sullivan on his birthday. Often considered the first skyscraper, the Home Insurance Building in Chicago was only 138 feet tall and 10-stories high, a far cry from the Burj Khalifa at 2,717 feet. Other cities might have taller skyscrapers by now, but we will still take our NYC skyline over any of them. We loved capturing photography of One World Trade Center, The Chrysler Building, and The Empire State Building, and maybe next time you see those tourists stopping to look up, join them for the great view! 🤩
