🛑If you’re doing this, you’re definitely wasting your budget.

Imagine you walk into a meeting with a person and only talk about yourself.
😎“We’re the best. We’re amazing. We do this, we do that.”
Without asking the person’s name, needs, or why they’re there, you spend the entire meeting boasting. How likely is it that this person will come back or even consider buying something from you? The odds are close to zero.

🎥The same thing happens when a business owner reaches out to us and shows their YouTube channel. The videos look beautiful — close-ups of a foot stepping out of a car, drones flying around the house, slow-motion shots, employees sitting in a well-lit office with beautifully staged frames. But there’s nothing in the video that really speaks to what the YouTube viewer is looking for.

Such a video can be used for paid advertising, but not for organic growth.💵

YOUTUBE brought TRUMP the VICTORY!!!

I noticed that the 2024 election campaign was fundamentally different in one key way. Kamala Haris chose a fairly standard approach. She held meetings, press conferences, and appeared on TV. On the other hand, Trump decided not to stick to the traditional political image and looked at other platforms. Honestly, I’m really glad with his choice and fully agree with it. He and his team paid attention to YouTube.

YOUTUBE brought TRUMP the VICTORY!!!

I noticed that the 2024 election campaign was fundamentally different in one key way. Hillary Clinton chose a fairly standard approach. She held meetings, press conferences, and appeared on TV. On the other hand, Trump decided not to stick to the traditional political image and looked at other platforms. Honestly, I’m really glad with his choice and fully agree with it. He and his team paid attention to YouTube. 

If he wanted to reach a young, active, and loyal audience, he needed to speak their language. Making films for Netflix is expensive and time-consuming. Many people no longer watch TV. So Trump turned his attention to YouTube. Trump traveled not only across cities, meeting with supporters, but also appeared in numerous podcasts as a guest. And he understood the format of podcasts. He didn’t show up with a script or notes, but instead spoke naturally and honestly with the hosts.

These videos garnered millions of views. And as a result, Trump reached to that very active and young audience.

I’m sure that this strategy, specifically, provided Trump with a key shift and a significant advantage in the polls, because today YouTube is truly the most widespread and relevant way to influence, attract a new audience, and make them loyal to you and your brand. Not only because YouTube continue to grow its viewer base every month, but it’s also the only platform where, with a single piece of content, you can achieve significant audience retention up to hours!

🙃Here comes the GameChanger.

Starting from October 15th, creators are able to upload YouTube Shorts up to 3 minutes long on the platform! Up until this point, Shorts have been limited to a maximum of 1 minute.

This means that Shorts won’t just be about delivering a single quick idea. We might be looking at a three-tier system to attract users. The first tier would be short content—Shorts under 1 minute—that hooks the audience with a single idea. The next tier would be Shorts between 1 and 3 minutes, for viewers who aren’t ready to subscribe but are willing to watch something longer. Finally, the third touchpoint would be full-length videos.
