Louise Crawford

In 2004, I launched Only the Blog Knows Brooklyn (otbkb.com) a popular Brooklyn blog. Since 2004, I've posted 15,000 posts about civics & urban life, arts & culture, food & drink, local shopping, parenting and photography. From 2005-2010, I was the Smartmom columnist for the Brooklyn Paper. As a freelance writer I wrote articles for Newsweek.com and the Associated Press. Also newsletter and annual reports for Sequel Studio and the FDNY. In 2005, I founded the Brooklyn Blogfest, an annual networking event for bloggers and creative entrepreneurs. In 2010, the event was sponsored by Absolut Vodka, who chose the Brooklyn
Blogfest as a perfect launch pad for their new product, Absolut Brooklyn. In 2012, I established Brooklyn Social Media, in collaboration with Marian Brown PR. Clients include: Artis Biomedica, Legacy Portrait Films, Peter Wheelwright and Honey & Wax Booksellers. Prior to my social media career, I produced film, video, exhibits, slice projects and special events for Zacks & Perrier, Batwin+Robin Productions and Caribiner.
