Printed in the darkroom, a contact sheet gives a direct, physical read of the film itself, from color, density, exposure, focus, everything the negative holds. Unlike digital contacts, there are no scanning or calibration variables. What you see is what the film gives you.

We offer archival pigment inkjet printing at any scale, from small intimate prints to large format, designed for exhibition and fine art presentation. Each print is crafted with precision, color accuracy, and care, and we work closely with our clients to ensure the final result matches their vision.

Our dip and dunk processor develops film in batches, with each roll suspended and moved through chemistry. This method results in greater consistency and reduces chances of surface scratches. We have been running this processor for nearly two decades!

Thrilled to share my commissioned portraits of The New Yorker’s critics, published online this week to celebrate the magazine’s 100th anniversary. As a longtime reader, this project has been a career highlight and a true joy. Much gratitude to , and David Remnick for this wonderful opportunity, and to for shepherding me through all this. This is the first of four sets of images which I’ll share over the next two weeks. There is also a link in my profile where you can view the portfolio in its entirety though i advise looking at this on your desktop to take full advantage of the picture quality…

It’s been a little bit since our ol’ friend Danny Clinch ( ) has been in the house to sign stuff - but 2025 is off to a banging start and here he was…

Speaking of that banging start: our short news cycle tends to drive stories out of our consciousness faster than we can keep track of - and the near apocalyptic fire events of Los Angeles this past January certainly don’t deserve that. To that end, Danny was also here picking up a massive pile of work sold as part of his Danny Clinch / John Mayer Collaborative Fundraiser for Los Angeles benefiting CORE and the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena.

You can see him holding an untrimmed sheet comprising barely 5% of the 500 (+) prints these two legends were able to move in support of those in need… bravo, fellas!

Seeing as it’s still January we think it’s reasonable to run a 2024 recap and a tip our hats to The New York Times ( ) for continuously delivering excellent content in Arts & Culture - and maybe more importantly, for employing terrific photographers to tell those stories.

Here we’re specifically talking about an article that ran December 26th called ā€œ71 Photographs That Defined the Year in Artsā€, which featured (among others) assignments from , and - three terrific individuals we’ve had the very good fortune of working with going back even further than 2024.

Bravo to all involved - and here’s to more of the same in 2025 (!)

Exhibition alert: 🚨🚨🚨
Tina Barney’s ā€œFamily Tiesā€ at the Jeu de Paume, Paris from September 28 through January 19.

We won’t attempt to understate how exciting it has been for us to participate with Tina Barney as she exhibited her completely deserved first European retrospective spanning over 40 years of her career - at the Jeu de Paume - right in the heart of Paris, no less!

The exhibition includes fifty-five large-scale photographs from her earliest works through her most recent series, including some previously unseen in Europe. Many of these signature images are uniquely displayed on floating glass partitions throughout two large bright and airy rooms in the historic 160 year old building located in Tuileries Gardens.

We could not be more proud to have played our part with contributions ranging across our entire 12 year working relationship with Tina: from our first direct-from-negative ā€œmural-sizedā€ conventional chromogenic enlargements to contemporary large-scale archival pigment prints to the digital imaging work for the spectacular exhibition catalogue itself, published with over 60 plates by (Aperture/Atelier EXB, 2024).

Our thanks and praise go to for putting her trust in our team as well as , and šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™

And: if you’re in Paris between now and the end of January, well… you know what to do (!)
