Last week, our very own took home Best Feature Film at the international premiere of her directorial debut, A Tantalizing, at in Barcelona, Spain. The film screened at — the oldest cinema in Barcelona — making the honor even more special.

Directed and edited by Katie, A Tantalizing is an adaptation of a play by William Mastrosimone, written by Shareen Mitchell .

The film stars Mitchell, and two-time Tony Award winner John Cullum, known for Shenandoah, Camelot, Urinetown, On the 20th Century, Northern Exposure and much more. Katie and John Cullum are 70 years apart (he turns 96 this week!)

It is a brilliant collaboration.

Our client has saved the iconic railcar diner on Wythe in Williamsburg, Brooklyn!

The lot was sold over the summer and instead of allowing the diner to get scrapped, Doug Steiner went through major efforts to move this landmark in one piece to Steiner Studios, where it’ll live on as a permanent movie + TV set.

Two weeks ago, our client Jessica Seinfeld’s celebrated the kick-off of its 25th anniversary.

With the SNAP disruptions becoming even more entangled over the weekend, the non-for-profit has mobilized to get food and goods to underserved families in both NYC and Los Angeles. Volunteers packed up diapers, formulas and clothing illustrating the emergency response by this wonderful organization.

Thanks to writer Eddie Small and intrepid photographer Buck Ennis who climbed, jumped, straddled and carried (enormous amounts of photographic cameras and paraphernalia) while photographing Justin Pelsinger and Colin Rankowitz all over Gowanus this past Monday. It was off to an early start Monday morning as ground was broken for Coney Island III, our client BFC’s third 100% affordable housing development in the Ocean side community (and all three are across from the amusement park and ocean!).
