All NJPAC-produced performances previously scheduled to take place through June 1 will be canceled or postponed. njpac.org/health

“The pandemic has changed daily life for all of us,” says John Schreiber, President and CEO of NJPAC.

“We are taking to heart guidance from the CDC, Governor Phil Murphy and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka that the best role we can play as citizens to prevent the spread of this virus is to practice social distancing. We wish every member of our community safety and good health during this unprecedented time in our lives.”

Customers who have purchased tickets for a show slated between today and June 1 will be contacted to inform them of their options, which will include the ability to transfer their tickets to a rescheduled performance date, or to receive a refund.

All performances after June 1 are still on sale, and we look forward to reopening NJPAC’s administrative offices May 11 to prepare for performances and, if conditions at that time allow, to recommence select arts education and community engagement events.

We are working with our artists to secure new performance dates, and anticipate having all rescheduling information available in the next few weeks. We encourage you to retain your tickets for postponed performances, to ensure your current prime seat location. If you have transferred your tickets to someone else, please make them aware of this change.

Excited to announce, Legendary Singer, Songwriter, and Composer, A.R. Rahman is coming to the Prudential Center on June 27th!

Rahman has won two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards, fifteen Filmfare Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South in addition to numerous other awards and nominations. In 2009, TIME Magazine placed Rahman in its list of World's Most Influential People.

A.R. Rahman's 2020 concert tour will feature songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English.

Indian Stand Up Comedians are making a big splash at this year's New York Comedy Festival!
Arun Govada is slated to host, with Tushar Singh, Sanjay Manaktala and Amit Tandon for MADE IN INDIA on Tuesday November 5th. Further cementing the Indian presence in the festival, Vir Das—one of the country’s biggest stars—is set to headline The Town Hall on November 8.
