🔬 Today is national STEM/STEAM DAY, a day created to bring awareness and encourage kids to explore the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. While the STEAM field has seen significant growth, the Black, Hispanic and American Indian communities continue to be underrepresented. How can we help bridge the gap? Today and every day, find the opportunity to involve kids in STEAM! You can:

•Volunteer or support STEAM driven non-profit organizations and initiatives targeting accessibility

•Get them started with simple science projects (Hello, Slime!)

•Give them a glimpse into the world of coding

•Encourage problem solving skills and celebrate thinking that’s outside the box!
