Omarion finally touched me 😩 But the only symptom I have (thankfully/prayerfully) is a runny nose. I’m sure the privilege is going to hop out on this post so I’m going to try and be mindful.
HOW I TREATED MY MILD COVID AT HOME:
1. Firstly, I’m staying home. It is wild how I barely have any symptoms and feel fine. It is also scary because that means that people are out here in these streets and probably don’t know that they have COVID. I know it is a privilege to be able to stay home and isolate and I am grateful for that. If you’re able to stay home and isolate, PLEASE DO!
2. I’m triple vaxxed and I believe the CDC is saying some side eye s**t. Whatever your views are on vaccination, I’d say, it’s pretty obvious that being vaccinated makes the symptoms less severe and treatable at home. We need to give the hospitals a break, y’all.
3. Water has been my annoyance and my elixir. Everyone knows that when you’re sick you’re supposed to drink water and go lay down, so that’s what I’ve been doing.
4. My friend put me on to my current vitamin regimen. I’m taking multi vitamins, turmeric, super b complex, d3, iron, and potassium
5. has been the real MVP. I don’t cook on a good day, but I’ve been heavily relying on Fruces (POC owned located in Harlem) for my daily fruits and veggies. Again, privilege 🙃
6. is always gon be that girl. I put it under my nose, behind my ears, on my neck, my chest, and the soles of my feet. We gon way back and imma stick beside her.
7. I didn’t treat COVID with an at home test but I took one of the COVID antigen tests and it came back negative. Then I took the other 48 hours after (as recommended) and it came back positive. That made me go get a PCR test just to be sure. And that came back positive. Shout out to for the recommendation!
8. One of the most important ingredients to me feeling as well as I do is rest. Y’all know the importance.
