On Monday, kikokostadinov presented its womenswear Spring/Summer 2027 collection, designed by .
The collection draws on the work of multidisciplinary artist Nanda Vigo, who treated light not simply as illumination, but as a material in itself. The ideas are translated into prismatic forms and tactile textiles, from the “Chronotope” dresses spun in cotton yarn and interrupted by translucent nylon, to featherweight organza slip dresses, flowing headpieces, and coats designed to move with the body.
An interplay between structure and freedom runs throughout, balancing softness and strength, transparency and opacity. The clothes are not intended to transform the woman into another character, but to reveal different dimensions within her.
For Vigo, light was a means of transmitting something into the future. Here, that transmission becomes clothing: a shifting architecture carried by the body. The Spring/Summer 2027 Kiko Kostadinov woman is not a static figure within space, but the force moving through it.
