As a child, she loved being in the waterâwhether it was a pool, a lake, or the sea, she felt completely at ease. But as she grew older, swimming became something she gradually stepped away from due to a very personal and uncommon physical response. Whenever she spends time in deeper water and starts moving around, her body reacts in a way she canât easily control, leading to noticeable discomfort and inconvenience.
She explains that it begins with a tingling sensation, followed by a reaction linked to her bodyâs natural processes. According to medical advice, her body is simply more sensitive than usual to certain triggers like temperature changes and physical activity in water. While itâs not harmful, it can be difficult to manage in public settings.
Over time, she tried different ways to handle itâadjusting how she swims, limiting movement, and preparing in advanceâbut nothing fully resolved the issue. Because of this, she eventually chose to avoid swimming altogether to prevent awkward situations. Instead, she now enjoys staying near the water in more relaxed ways, like walking along the shore or sitting by the edge.
By sharing her story, she hopes to raise awareness that everyoneâs body can respond differently to certain environments. For her, itâs about understanding those limits and finding comfort in alternative ways to enjoy the same surroundings.
