If you’ve noticed a recent uptick in scrolling habits, you are not alone! Using DataReportal's analysis of 2020's global online usage, their comprehensive study confirmed people are spending more time online each day than they did in previous years, with the typical internet user now spending 16 minutes longer online each day in 2020 than they did in 2019, representing a year-on-year increase of 4 percent. Added together, the combined global total of 3.7 trillion hours on social media will equate to more than 420 million years of combined human existence.
