Shive-Hattery turned an underutilized urban parcel into a vibrant, high-density student housing destination near the University of Iowa. The 291-unit, 648-bed community delivers the modern lifestyle students want, featuring resort-style amenities including a pool, gaming areas, outdoor kitchens, hammocks, a dog park, and thoughtfully designed green spaces.

Partnering with Scannell Properties, Shive-Hattery provided integrated architecture, interior design, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and survey services to bring the vision to life. Our Incavo pattern covered columns and sends eyes soaring to the expansive ceilings with clean and minimal linears. The result is a distinctive student living experience that blends convenience, community, and comfort while helping meet a critical housing need in Iowa City.
