Funny how Pokémon slowly stopped being “just cards” for us 🎨⚡

A while ago we bought a normal wooden frame in England and then completely reworked it here in Düsseldorf.

The frame was professionally gilded with real 23k gold leaf and combined with mirrored museum glass offering 97% UV protection 🍀✨

Now the PSA 10 Van Gogh Pikachu finally feels less like a trading card…
and more like a tiny museum piece.

Some people keep grails hidden away in cases.
We wanted to actually live with it and enjoy seeing it every single day 😄

At first I thought it was just a random signature –

Met him in person and got the moment with him & Edde –
that’s what makes this hobby special.

Not planned. Not expected.
But definitely one of those cards you don’t forget.
