Get ready for the holidays and help support local veterans with the VFW 3282 Auxiliary Fall Craft Show!
Check out over 30 talented Crafters at this show, offering a variety of beautiful handmade crafts for sale. Along with an amazing Bake Sale, you can also take a chance on a 50/50 raffle and fun gift baskets. Delicious food, prepared by the talented ladies of the Auxiliary, will be available for purchase.

First screening of sailing documentary at The Old Theater in Oriental

First public screening of a new sailing documentary that tells the story of multihull movement pioneers. In the 1950s and '60s, a group of radical sailors, using modern materials and engineering, reimagined 4,000-year-old multihull boat designs. The boats they built in their backyards and garages broke with convention and launched a decades-long odyssey of invention and adventure, tragedy and accomplishments across oceans, continents and cultures. Sailing today would not be the same if not for these audacious characters. Mavericks & Multihulls tells their story. Admission is free; donations gratefully accepted.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 5:30-8PM
This is a 21+ event

Enjoy spooky cocktails, light nibbles, and bewitching entertainment with live music by Green Eggs and Jam. Costumes are encouraged! Tickets include admission and entertainment. Drink and food purchases sold separately.

Drink tickets ($6) and silicone cups can be purchased at the ticket window or snack bar. Special thanks to Dogfish Head Beer & Benevolence for their generous donation of beer and canned cocktails!

Proceeds from the event benefit the Delaware Zoological Society of the Brandywine Zoo. The event will be held rain or moonshine. Strictly 21+ with valid ID required. Library passes, guest passes, or any other promotion will not be accepted.

Zoo Member: $5, Non-member: $10

"The Basics" Cake Decorating Class

Join us for this in person workshop at our new space in downtown Waterbury!

In this workshop, we will talk through the basics of filling a cake, crumb coating a cake, working on getting nice smooth edges, various buttercream textures, and some rosette piping. You'll walk home with some great new techniques as well as a 6 inch cake (serves 12). You can select your flavor in the questionnaire section.

Gluten free, vegan, or both available for the cake kits. Please disclose all allergies in the ticket registration. Please note we are not an allergen free facility.
