On June 24, The NORR Kitchen hosted an exclusive invitation-only dining experience at Grotto, a beautiful, hidden venue in Downtown Los Angeles. It was more than just a dinner; the evening unfolded like a cinematic performance where the table became the set, and the guests became the story.
The multi-course menu featured:
- 00 Montana Grass-fed Wagyu Bone Marrow, butter & bread
- 01 Truffle Caesar with Parmesan Crisps, Edible Flowers
- 02 Wild Mushroom & Quail Egg Enoki, Toasted Bread, Caramelised Onion Cream, Micro Leeks
- 03 Gnocchi with Lemon Cream, Crispy Prosciutto, Sage, Aged Balsamic
- 04 American Wagyu Shortrib, Sous Vide 18 Hours Torched Fennel Garlic, Pearl Onion, Nasturtium, Beetroot
- 05 The NK Sâ more Port Chocolate Mousse, Brownie, Nut Crumble, Torched Marshmallow
Krug Champagne had an exquisite Tasting Room, which included their Grand CuvÊe 172ème edition, The Macallan for a special pour pre-dinner, and Medlock Ames Winery 2020 Bell Mountain for their exceptional wine pairings, which elevated the culinary journey throughout the night.
The atmosphere was enhanced by a custom scentscape from Maison Louis Marie, creating a multi-sensory experience that lingered in memory. Ambient soundscapes from Sonos, candlelight, and rich textiles worked in harmony to transform the space into a stunning story-driven environment.
Every detail was editorially crafted and intentionally designed to engage all the senses, inviting guests to fully immerse themselves in a shared moment of luxury dining at NORR Kitchen.
