For Study Hotels, we created At the Tone: Episode 1 to align with Yale’s move-in weekend—a moment full of pride, transition, and anticipation.

The piece is simple: a grandparent’s voicemail layered over B-roll of the property. But the choices were deliberate. The lo-fi texture mirrors Study’s unpretentious intellectual character, and the message itself anchors the brand in a shared ritual of university life—moving in, saying goodbye, and already looking ahead to family weekend.

It shows how even modest footage can become a compelling story when every detail serves the brand’s purpose: connection and community.
