Akemi Ichise, President and CEO, Allison Japan, turned a lifelong dream into reality by attending the International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition, which takes place once every five years in Poland.

After years of trying, Akemi secured last-minute tickets just in time to attend the event while on her Sabbatical, which Allison employees take after five years. Akemi immersed herself in Chopin’s world, attending live performances at the Philharmonia and visiting his birthplace as well as his favorite spots in Paris on the way home.

This serves as a reminder that when we make space for our passions, magic often follows. 💫
