We are very happy to launch the latest site in our collaboration with USC - USC Financial Aid. We've been working with USC's awesome team over the past year to create a core web component library from which many beautiful sites can be built for schools, offices, centers - you name it. This launch is the next in a series that we hope will continue for years to come!

USC is need blind in its admission process, which means that a student’s ability to pay or interest in financial aid has no bearing on admission decisions. Furthermore, we work with families to meet the full demonstrated financial need for students who satisfy all deadlines and eligibility require...

After more than a year in the making, we were so happy last week to launch a new gateway website for USC! The project was the first major milestone in our delivery of a modular web component system for the institution, that we hope will be used for dozens of USC sites to come. It's been a great adventure to work through this complex assignment in collaboration with USC's smart, engaged team - they are an exemplary group. Congratulations to University of Southern California!!

It doesn't happen all the time that we get to work with a national leader in arts education, but that was the case with latest project with School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
This project was a labor of love for our team: a client that educates people to make their mark with artistic expression, deep ideas and endless creativity. We were told that it would be a tough road ahead - (presenting design ideas to a stakeholder group who all had strong ideas and opinions would be hard) - but on the contrary, the collaboration smooth and productive. In fact, SAIC was a terrific partner in this massive project and offered so much to the process....we salute them all as we launch our work together!

We just had a really fun and interesting virtual team event with some of our team members in various cities and continents. Radiolab creator Jad Abumrad worked with The Go Game online event company to develop a virtual team-building experience all about having better conversations - "How to Talk to a Human." The event quickly got our team members to speak with substance about things important to each of us....not a thing that happens all the time in the office! It was really fun to enjoy each other in this context, and have a virtual team lunch around the Zoom conference table.

Our new site for California Institute of Integral Studies had to be as unique, progressive, and outside-the-box as the education and enlightenment that CIIS offers to its community. Our design adds some magical energy to the newly streamlined presentation of CIIS' educational offerings, showing students who are looking for a different path in life that they've come to the right place. We've been remiss on updating our FB page, but how could we not be excited to announce our awesome collaboration with USC, which started with the launch of USC Dornsife in May. A really engaged team at Dornsife manages a wide range of content contributors, dedicated to their student body, and to engaging with the larger community. More launches from USC are coming soon this summer, so stay tuned!

Our end-of-year town hall meeting was a great chance to get together, and special thanks to The Ad Club of NY for sharing their awesome new space. After our meeting, we went out for a immersive interactive game show experience: “Game of 10,000 Boxes”. (The “Bugs” team won in a tantalizing reversal of fortune at the end!) And then out for delightful tapas at Tia Pol in Chelsea. Only in New York!

At the Annual GMAC event, Gene and our client Lynda Oliver from Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business talked about our work together to create a powerful new brand positioning to drive their marketing. Great Q&A after the presentation; business schools keenly understand the benefits of strategic marketing.

A great time: we had a team "on site" meeting to remember 25+ years at our pre-pandemic office on 23rd St. Then on to a group visit to Museum of Modern Art and a dinner out in the Lower East Side - a perfect NYC event.

Our team was honored to have lunch in Battery Park with President Jack Thomas and the amazing team from Central State University. Under a clear blue sky with a view of the Statue of Liberty, we had a rare moment to reflect together about our work over the past year. We are looking forward to the upcoming launch of CSU's new brand and website!
