Here’s what’s new for 21C artists!

1. Yoshiki performed two nights of Yoshiki Classical 2026 at Walt Disney Concert Hall, making his return to US performances following his 3rd cervical surgery. This was accompanied by the first digital release of his 1993 album ‘Eternal Melody’ on which he collaborated with George Martin and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

2. Chanticleer performed at The Caverns in Grundy County, Tennessee.

3. Daniel Hope kicked off the 2026 Menuhin festival Gstaad, and 21C’s Jessica Lustig gave a cultural diplomacy presentation at the festival.

4. 21C led video shoot with Daniil Trifonov.

5. Daniil Trifonov performed a solo recital at the Aspen Music Festival and School, and the concert was streamed on STAGE+. Trifonov also performed Glazunov’s Second Piano Concerto with the Aspen Festival Orchestra (pc: Diego Redel).

6. Nicholas Phan performed the world premiere of composer Shawn Okpebholo’s new song cycle, “The Beautiful,” on their “Fellow Citizens” recital program at Tanglewood, and 21C was in the house.

Another busy week for 21C artists!

1-2. Fabio Luisi made his Tanglewood debut leading the Boston Symphony Orchestra in Brahms’ 2nd Symphony and Chopin’s 2nd Piano Concerto with Warner Classics & Erato artist Eric Lu. 21C was in attendance.

3. Fabio Luisi’s “Ring” recording with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra has won the “Premio speciale della giuria” of the “Premio Abbiati del Disco," the most prestigious prize given by the Association of Music Critics in Italy (pc: Sylvia Elzafon).

4-5. The Louisville Orchestra announced that Jude Vaclavik has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (photo: courtesy of the Louisville Orchestra).
