Here’s what’s new for 21C artists!

1. The Atlanta Opera premiered their new production of Wagner’s Götterdämmerung, and 21C was in the house (pc: Raftermen for TAO).

2. Teddy Abrams made his debut with Nashville Symphony conducting Mason Bates’ Triple Concerto (a co-comission with The Louisville Orchestra) and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 (pc: Kurt Heinecke).

3. The Orchestra of St. Luke's kicked off their Bach Festival at Carnegie Hall, and 21C was in the house.

4. Sergei Babayan performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto no. 3 with the Human Rights Orchestra at KKL Lucerne (pc: Felsner Artists).

1-2. Julia Bullock concluded her directorship of this year’s Cincinnati May Festival with a performance of "Porgy and Bess" under the baton of Anthony Parnther at the festival finale concert. (pc: JP Leong).

3. Nicholas Phan performed as a tenor soloist in the Cincinnati May Festival’s performances of Orff’s ‘Catulli Carmina’ (pc: Phil Armstrong).

Here’s what’s new for 21C artists!

1. Jon Batiste joined Terrence McKnight at WQXR’s Green Space for an event previewing his upcoming album, Black Mozart, and 21C was in the room!

2. 21C attended the opening night of the Cincinnati May Festival, which is expertly directed by Julia Bullock this year. (JP Leong).

3. Edward Gardner led concerts with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and 21C was in the house.

4. Alisa Weilerstein and the San Diego Symphony led by Rafael Payare performed Gabriela Ortiz’s ‘Dzonot’ Cello Concerto (pc: SDS).

5. Alisa Weilerstein performed in an all-star string quintet program at Carnegie Hall, and 21C was in the house (pc: Chris Lee).

6. Fabio Luisi led the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in Mahler’s 8th Symphony (pc: DSO).

7. Joshua Bell made his debut as principal guest conductor of the New Jersey Symphony, and 21C was in the house.

8. 21C got a tour of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, including the beautiful new Bowes Center.

1-3. 21C held a listening party at a private listening room in Greenwich Village for Fabio Luisi and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s live recording of Wagner’s Ring Cycle, releasing on all platforms May 22nd and out now exclusively on Apple Music Classical.

4. Edward Gardner led the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (pc: Todd Rosenberg).

5. Teddy Abrams made his debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, leading the orchestra in Copland’s Rodeo, Komschlies’ A Hidden Sun Rises, and Bartók’s Dance Suite. The concert was recorded for future broadcast on BBC Radio 3.

6. Inbal Segev performed at the Festival Arte Musica Amersfoort in the Netherlands (pc: Festival Arte Musica).

7. Daniil Trifonov performed in Carnegie Hall’s 50th Anniversary of the Concert of the Century (pc: Chris Lee).
