Still feeling inspired from last night's ⭐️

And watching our girl and NYWICI Board President host a room of total icons without batting an eyelash is always the best part. Thank you for having us there to witness the brilliance and tenacity of (and to - those were some of the best honoree intros we've EVER heard).

A thru line between all the speeches was a reminder to always . Asking WHY is empowering, it's clarifying, it's key to making the right decision at the right moment. Cheers to all our friends and mentors long associated with New York Women in Communications - 50 years of setting the standard for how women in business work together to help one another succeed.

Nights like these are so worth fighting the midtown traffic 🌃

On this MLK Jr. Day, reminded us of the lesson of continuity that King taught that we seem to have forgotten. That lesson - that the problems that face the nation are related to a genealogy of past ones. Looking back on MLK Jr., we see he’s telling us anything is possible right now. We just have to have hope and look back whilst looking forward.

When WF launched five yrs ago, we chose to build our foundation centered around our shared passions. We needed to ensure the work we do every day is closely tied to our identities – our clients, our projects, our families, our kids, our personal obsessions. All one big happy life.

It’s a testament to how the narrative is finally shifting when a woman with a microphone as large as Shonda’s can remind us that it’s ok to not be fully present every minute of the day at work. The power of being pulled in different directions, especially in 2022, can be more magical than the fantasy that work is life and life is work✨🙏
