The images that hold up across markets are the ones that never leaned on location.
A campaign built for a brand operating across the UK and the US cannot anchor itself visually to a place. The moment a shot reads too specifically as one city, the other market loses the connection. The approach that works is to go deeper into the hospitality moment itself: the food, the light on a table, the detail of a service interaction, not the skyline or a street that reads as one city. Experience first, geography secondary.
This is the conversation most multi-market hospitality briefs need to have before the shot list is written. Every image that has to work in New York and London needs to be planned with both markets in mind from the start. A details-and-experience-first approach is not a creative compromise. It is the only plan that does not require a reshoot.
