The Great Schools, Clean Streams contest showed how powerful our school communities can be when we come together for a common cause—protecting New Castle County’s waterways. Students, educators, and our communities brought enthusiasm, creativity, and a shared commitment to clean water.

Every pledge represents a step toward a healthier environment, and 30 New Castle County schools earned cash prizes! Way to go to all who participated—you made a difference! We here at Blue Blaze 💙 aren't feeling blue 🔷 about the choice of the newly selected state dragonfly! Congratulations to the Blue Dasher! Delaware school students made the out of the blue selection in the State of Delaware Dragonfly Project, sponsored by the Delaware Museum of Nature & Science and the Delaware Department of Education (DDOE). Sen. Stephanie Hansen will introduce legislation to officially name the Blue Dasher as Delaware's official state dragonfly. Join us in celebrating! Things like this only happen once in a blue moon!🔵

It was a grand day for a Grand Opening as BrightBloom Centers opened its FOURTH location on September 12! CEO Diliana Henry, pictured with Blue Blaze co-owners Wendy Scott and Sandy Taccone, cut the ribbon on the new facility in Elkton, MD. The new facility will allow BrightBloom to serve even more children with autism and other special needs by providing a variety of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapies including diagnostic evaluations and early intervention. It’s been our pleasure to work with BrightBloom for four years leading up to this big day!

This prestigious honor from the Delaware State Chamber comes as DelNature celebrates its 60th anniversary and recognizes a consistent commitment to conservation, environmental education, and advocacy.
