🚀 New Website Launch: Truro Township
Woodchuck Arts is excited to announce the launch of a fully redesigned website for Truro Township in Franklin County!
Why a Fresh Start? Truro Township is home to 38,000 residents, and they needed a digital transformation. Their previous site was outdated and difficult to navigate. The Truro Township team wanted to give their community a modern, user-friendly platform that felt as professional as the services they provide.
The Design Approach: We built the new look around the township's existing logo. By pulling those classic blues and clean tones into the modern layout, the entire site now feels cohesive and authoritative. It’s a great example of how a thoughtful color palette can make a government site feel more trustworthy and organized.
What We Built: We delivered a new WordPress site tailored for township needs:
* Meeting & Agenda Archives: Easy access to local governance.
* 100/100 Lighthouse Score: Full WCAG accessibility compliance for a truly inclusive experience.
* Modern Performance: Responsive design that works perfectly on phones, tablets, and desktops.
* Community Resources: A dedicated space for historical info and local links.
Ongoing Support: Township websites aren’t "launch-and-forget" projects. Because residents rely on this site for critical info, security is a top priority. We’re staying on board to provide secure hosting, regular updates, and accessibility checks.
Accessibility is Non-Negotiable: Government sites are now required by law to meet accessibility standards. This means the site works for everyone, including neighbors who use screen readers or keyboard navigation.
