It was a very special night for a cause very close to my heart at the Show Up & Shine for Kids annual fundraiser, providing connection and inspiration. It was an unforgettable evening at the Skyline Ballroom, where presence truly matters.
This caring non-profit mission makes a huge local impact, helping prevent child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and providing families with trauma-informed care, parenting skills, and building safer, stronger families with life-changing resources.
The touching, heartfelt speeches from the board members, staff, survivors, and local families emphasized why voices and compassion matter. The mountain views, tasty culinary menu, wine and bubbles pairings, silent and live auctions, and DJ truly made for a magical evening.
As my daughter and I are assault and battery as well as abuse survivors, I will always be indebted to programs and dedicated individuals like this for giving us the assistance we needed to thrive and heal. As a single mom, I was blown away and so beyond grateful to be awarded the Gold Keys Travel trip of a lifetime to treat my daughter to a 2026 7-day European river cruise.
