Last weekend marked the final gathering of SHINE 25 with .cheyne Heart First Communications and it truly was a game changer for me. ✨

One message that deeply stayed with me is this: always lead with your heart. When we show up from a place of authenticity and purpose, everything begins to align — our voice, our confidence, and the way we connect with others.

Over the past few months, this experience has helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. Yes, we’ve been learning about public speaking, but we’ve also been doing the deeper work — strengthening our businesses, clarifying our message, and stepping more fully into who we are meant to be. It all connects.

I am so grateful to be continuing this journey with Mary who has been an incredible mentor every step of the way. And the community of new friends I’ve met through SHINE has been just as impactful — supportive, encouraging, and truly special.

Feeling very thankful… and very excited for what’s ahead. Stay tuned. 💛

A couple of weeks ago, I attended the Daring Women Who Change the World event at — and it continues to stay with me.

From Loretta J. Ross’s keynote and Q&A, to a workshop on fearlessness and leadership with Karen Pambianchi, to the deeply moving poetry performance by Porsha Olayiwola — the entire day was layered with insight, reflection, and powerful perspective.

Each voice, each conversation, each moment carried a reminder of something I believe deeply:

Impactful work is never just about business.
It’s about courage, voice, presence, and purpose.

I left feeling incredibly grateful — and even more grounded in why I’m so passionate about working with brands and organizations doing meaningful, important work in the world.

Because when you spend time in rooms like that, you’re reminded what truly matters. ❤️

✨ Last Website Launch of the Year ✨

So excited to share the final website launch of the year for Arlington Children’s Center! 🎉 ACC needed a thoughtful website refresh—one that better reflects their mission, community, and the families they support every day.

I’ve had the privilege of working with ACC for many years, and this project feels especially meaningful. 2025 has been a year of big change and major pivots for me—stepping into my new brand, Root to Rise Creative, after 20 years of working alongside my partner and mother. It’s been a roller coaster, but one filled with growth, clarity, and gratitude.

As I look ahead to 2026, I’m so excited for what’s next: more meaningful work, deeper partnerships, and helping service-based, purpose-driven businesses—especially women in health & wellness, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations—truly flourish. That’s what we love doing, and this project feels like a beautiful way to close out the year. 🌱✨

Port Gingerbread Festival is happening this weekend!
We just left this incredibly creative event and were blown away by the talent—so many amazing gingerbread houses and imaginative creations. What I love most about this event is how it brings people together through creativity, community, and giving back.

📅 Last day to check it out is tomorrow, Sunday, December 14, 2025
📍 Central Congregational Church
📍 14 Titcomb Street, Newburyport, MA

Creativity for a Cause!
The Port Gingerbread Festival is a FREE contest and public exhibition of artistic gingerbread creations made by people of all ages.

Festival proceeds support , a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring equal access to healthy, local food across North Shore communities—while building connection, dignity, and self-reliance.

On a personal note, I feel truly honored to have worked with Mary Dissette at the very first Port Gingerbread Festival to create their website. Watching this event grow year after year and continue to make such a meaningful impact in our community has been incredibly special. 🎄

✨ New Brand Reveal ✨

Some projects come full circle in the most meaningful way. Years ago, my mum and former design partner, worked with Darcie . Sheila has such a gift for understanding who people are at their core, and she really saw Darcie’s vision—long before she was ready to step into a new brand.

Fast forward to today: Darcie was ready for that big change. Together, we polished the brand Sheila helped bring to life and carried it forward into a fresh new identity for Aluna Restorative Wellness. 🌿

It’s been such an honor to build on the foundation Sheila started and to help Darcie step into a brand that feels aligned, restorative, and ready for what’s next.

💫 Introducing the new look for Aluna Restorative Wellness — and stay tuned, because the brand-new website is almost complete and launching later this month!

A New Beginning for Women in Transition: Everything in the Center

This one is special. I’ve gone through my own seasons of change—some beautiful, some really hard. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: we need support and community to get through it. Laurie created Everything in the Center for exactly that reason—to be a place where women can feel seen, supported, and guided through life’s major transitions.

Laurie is a coach who walks beside women navigating deep life shifts like:
✨ Caring for aging parents or loved ones with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or Parkinson’s
✨ Becoming an empty nester and asking, Who am I now?
✨ Making career pivots or stepping into retirement
✨ Moving through divorce or redefining relationships
✨ Facing menopause, body changes, and reclaiming well-being

If you’re standing at a crossroads and don’t know where to begin, Laurie helps you come back to your center—with clarity, purpose, joy, and strength.

I was honored to help Laurie bring her brand new company and website to life—from messaging to visual identity to launch.

This isn’t just a coaching practice—it’s a powerful space for change, connection, and growth.

✨ Sneak peek time! ✨

We’re about to launch a brand new identity and website for a truly inspiring life coach—and I couldn’t be more excited to share a glimpse of the logo we’ve created together.

This project has been all about heart-centered strategy, aligned visuals, and building a brand that feels like home for the people she’s here to serve.

From deep discovery work to color palettes, messaging, and a warm, inviting website—it’s all coming together. Watching her vision come to life has been such an honor.

Can’t wait to show you more soon. 💫

📸 Huge shout-out to Jennie of for capturing the most beautiful, soulful brand photos. Her work brought so much life and personality to the project!

🚴‍♀️ She’s back—and she’s bringing friends.
I’m thrilled to share that I’m relaunching Blog and launching a brand new podcast with my friend and fellow wellness advocate, Dr. Whitney Elsesser of .hormonal
🎙️ Thrive & Tell – Real Women. Real Stories. Rooted Healing.

When I first started Girl and a Bike back in 2017, it was simply a space to share stories from the saddle—riding, reflecting, and writing. But life has a way of deepening your story.

Over the past year, I’ve navigated some unexpected health challenges, and through it all, the bike became more than just a ride—it became a lifeline. Now, the blog is evolving into a space where I’ll share more of that journey: the healing, the hard stuff, and how movement has anchored me through it all.

Here’s the best part:
Out of a shared passion for women’s health and holistic healing, Whitney and I—who connected through our Exeter WBL chapter—decided to co-create .tell. This podcast is a space where women can share their real, raw, powerful stories of healing from the inside out.

✨ Each week, we’ll:
• Talk with women who’ve journeyed through chronic illness, burnout, hormone imbalance, mental health struggles, and more
• Highlight practitioners, coaches, and healers doing transformative work
• Hold space for authentic, vulnerable conversations—because healing isn’t linear, and thriving looks different for all of us

🎧 Launching mid-July
