EXCITING NEWS! GearShift’s work for Yamaha Motorsports was recognized for creative excellence at the 2026 Orange County ADDYs. This year, GearShift took home one Silver ADDY® Award and four Bronze ADDY® Awards for their work on Yamaha Side-by-Sides, YZ dirtbikes and the amazing R9. Special thanks to Garth Milan and RG Media Inc for all their incredible work in making this recognition possible. The American Advertising Awards represent the industry’s largest and most competitive creative competition, celebrating excellence across all forms of advertising nationwide. Big news rolling out of Georgia! 🍑 GearShift is proud to have partnered with Toyo Tires on a new run of branded stickers celebrating their Open Country tires which are proudly made in Georgia. There’s nothing better than shining a spotlight on homegrown manufacturing and helping bring that story to life. We love collaborating with great brands — and this one was a ride worth taking.

Last week, most of the GearShift team came together to kick off the holidays in festive style! Tom and Eric flew into town for the week to join in on the celebration. Thursday we had our lively annual gift exchange—made especially memorable when Greg managed to leave with the exact gift he brought after a crafty steal at the very end by Tom. We wrapped everything up with lunch and lots of laughs at Javier’s in Corona Del Mar. Definitely a fun way to celebrate the season. We also want to wish our many friends, clients, and followers a very happy holiday season filled with joy, laughter, and good cheer!

The GearShift team recently rolled out with Garth Milan and Ray Gauger to chase the new 2026 Yamaha R7 through some epic California terrain — from the “The Carousel” of Sonoma Raceway to the epic twisties of the Sonora Pass. Garth was in his element, snapping killer stills that captured the R7’s blend of tech, speed, and attitude. What you see here are just a few of the epic moments he caught along the way — pure energy, pure Yamaha.

Huge thanks to the legends at Ray Gauger Media and Garth Milan for teaming up with us on the new Yamaha R7 launch! From the first throttle twist to the final frame, producing the video and stills for this beast was an absolute blast. The energy, the attitude, the adrenaline—everything came together to showcase one seriously exciting ride for our amazing client, Yamaha Motorsports. Here’s to late nights, loud engines, and creative chaos—wouldn’t have it any other way.

After an incredible career that includes eight championships, Yamaha legend Chad Wienen has officially retired from ATV MX.
He went out in style, taking 1st overall in his final race — his Last Dance.
To help honor Chad’s legacy, GearShift was proud to provide the banner for this unforgettable celebration.
