Then came her defining moment.
Performing at as a college student, where you bring it or you get booed. She didn’t just sing. She won. That moment didn’t just elevate her voice, it set the stage for a lifelong relationship with Apollo and the work we’re building together today.
Today, as an Apollo Board Member, philanthropist, artist, and CEO, Kwanza’s commitment is rooted in access, opportunity, and legacy. Through partnership with The Apollo and the Impact Multiplier™, we’re expanding pathways for nonprofits, investing in community, and strengthening the future of culture through the first-of-its-kind Apollo x Kwanza Jones .
As we prepare to hit the road, we’re thinking deeply about legacy, especially in moments when it’s being challenged. How do we honor what opened doors for us? How do we ensure those doors remain open for generations to come?
