has always been legacy and home for artists. Kwanza grew up just steps away, working at her father’s Harlem law office, feeling the heartbeat of a place that powered artists’ possibilities and where legends graced the stage.

Then came her defining moment.

Performing at as a college student, where you bring it or you get booed. She didn’t just sing. She won. That moment didn’t just elevate her voice, it set the stage for a lifelong relationship with Apollo and the work we’re building together today.

Today, as an Apollo Board Member, philanthropist, artist, and CEO, Kwanza’s commitment is rooted in access, opportunity, and legacy. Through partnership with The Apollo and the Impact Multiplier™, we’re expanding pathways for nonprofits, investing in community, and strengthening the future of culture through the first-of-its-kind Apollo x Kwanza Jones .
