When I first started writing blogs for clients, every month the same question would pop up: “What should we blog about next month?”

Thankfully, I no longer have to answer that question month over month because I’ve developed a system that keeps ideas flowing, so I never run out of content to write.

Here are a few places I look for blog ideas whether it’s for myself or blogging for clients:

- Questions from clients - These make for the some of the most aligned blogs because they’re topics your couples actually care about.

- Industry topics in forums like Reddit, Facebook groups, etc. - I often go here even when I already have a blog topic because there is just so much good information.

- Related keywords from research - I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been researching a keyword in Ubersuggest for a blog post I’m working on and found related keyword ideas and think “that would be a great blog topic!”

- Competitors’ blogs - Take a peek at what others in your industry are writing about and see if there are any topics that spark your interest and fill a gap in your content.

Remember - your blogs don’t need to be 3,000 words long. That can make writing them feel overwhelming and cause you to avoid it altogether. Keep blogs short, but helpful, and make sure they link to each other so readers (and Google) can explore related articles.

And if you’ve got a million ideas but not enough hours in the day, that’s where I come in. I’ll make sure your ideas get shared instead of just building up in a list.
